This week Amera is back and we are using our platform to discuss the importance of building up a practice of political participation, especially in the non-presidential, or midterm, election cycles. While different groups are advocating for “getting out the vote” for this specific cycle, we are advocating for a change in attitude toward political participation that will increase issue and candidate awareness and voting across various types of local, state, and national races.
We cover a lot of ground here. It isn’t your usual poli-tainment. One of us even makes something like a right leaning argument.
This midterm is especially important. Sit with us as we explore some of the reasons why.
